Don’t Wait for the Demolition Truck

“A lesson will keep repeating itself until it is learned. Life first will send the lesson to you in the size of a pebble; if you ignore the pebble, then life will send you a brick; if you ignore the brick, life will send you a brick wall; if you ignore the brick wall, life will send you a demolition truck.” — Oprah Winfrey

Don't Wait for the Demolition Truck

If you’re sitting in a quiet kind of despair because you still don’t know what you’re here to do—please hear this:

You are not broken. You are not behind. And you are not alone.

I don’t care what your social feed is showing you. You’re not the only one who feels like they’re drowning in pressure to figure out their whole life, while barely holding it together inside.

The ache you feel isn’t weakness. It’s your soul knocking. It’s your brilliance, trapped under layers of conditioning, asking to be remembered.

You might not have words for it yet. You might feel tired, numb, or like you're moving through life in grayscale. But I promise you, this pain has a message. It wants to wake you up, not take you down.

And it usually starts small. Life first whispers. A sense of restlessness. A job that makes you feel invisible. A relationship that drains more than it gives. An unshakable feeling that there has to be more than this.

That’s the pebble.

If you ignore the pebble, life sends you a brick. Maybe it’s burnout. Anxiety. Losing your sense of direction completely. The kind of sadness you can’t post about. The kind of ache that sits in your chest while you smile for the world.

If you still don’t pay attention, life builds a wall. You might feel stuck in a version of yourself that doesn’t feel like you anymore. You might start to lose faith that things will ever change.

And if all else fails, the demolition truck comes.

I know because I’ve lived it. I ignored the pebbles. I dodged the bricks. I climbed the wall like a warrior and still got leveled by the demolition truck. It flattened my spirit for a time. But it also woke me up. It brought me back to myself. Not in one grand gesture, but through a thousand small acts of choosing me.

Here’s what I want you to know:

You don’t need to wait for the demolition truck.

You don’t need a crisis to justify your awakening.

You can listen to the pebble.

You can choose now. You can choose softness instead of suffering. You can choose curiosity instead of shame. You can start to rebuild, not from who the world told you to be, but from the truth of whom you already are underneath it all.

That’s what the Rewire journey is about.
Not hustling for purpose... but listening for it.
Not performing strength... but reclaiming your sensitivity as a superpower.

If you're sensitive, empathetic, emotional, that's good. That’s not weakness. It’s your sign. It’s your internal compass. It means you feel when something is off. And that’s a sacred gift.

So let’s use it.

Let’s rewire the story that says purpose is something you earn through suffering or perfection. Let’s unhook from the lie that you need to have your entire path mapped out to start walking.

You don’t.

You just need to take the next loving step.

Your purpose may not arrive like a lightning bolt. It might arrive as a whisper. As a tug. As a sentence that you can’t stop thinking about. As a small act of courage that leads to the next, and the next.

Purpose often begins with healing. With reclaiming the parts of you that you had to exile to survive. It starts with asking: What’s hurting? What’s calling? What needs to be seen?

It might not look like a grand vision at first. It might look like breathing again. Like resting. Like saying no. Like crying in the shower and still getting up. Like being honest about what you want, even if you don’t have a plan yet.

That is your purpose right now: to come home to yourself.

And when you do that? The next step will reveal itself to you.

You are not meant to live a life that feels like slow-motion dying. You are meant to be, to feel, to become.

So if life’s been nudging you, start now.
Start with the pebble.

You don’t need to know the whole map. You just need to know the next steps. You just need to answer the knock.

This is your invitation to begin your Rewire journey. To listen deeply. To reclaim your fire gently. To stop waiting for the collapse and choose your breakthrough instead.
